As a photographer, I’m a stickler for straight horizon lines in my photos. I’m not so great at keeping my camera level when I’m shooting though, so my photos often end up with crooked horizons.
I edit all of our photos in Lightroom, which has amazing editing power and tools that make fixing imperfections like crooked horizons super easy!
Watch this quick video to see how you can quickly fix your horizons.
How To Straighten The Horizon in Lightroom
- Edit your photo with your usual edit
- Click on the cropping tool.
- Option 1 – Click “Auto.” If that doesn’t work as well as you’d like, go to option 2.
- Option 2 – Click the level icon, and then click and drag a line across your horizon line and the photo will straighten out!
